Videoconferencing really does offer an almost 'being there' experience. Since many of our students already use FaceTime or Skype so adding it to the classroom is a natural for learning experiences and it can be very powerful.. talking to experts, sharing with global 'pen pals', etc. There are so many ways to connect with both people and content via multimedia technology!
